[ Hey Stiles, you better not be asleep or anything because Scott is here, wolfed out, and banging rapidly on your window. He is seriously freaking out here, okay? ]

Stiles! Stiles, let me in!

[A pair of green eyes may be watching you sleep, Stiles.]

[He had fallen asleep in Stiles' bed the night before, and he's there half on top of Stiles in the middle of the night. Snoozing.]

You should come pick up your jeep. I've fixed quite a few problems it had.

[He's left Stiles alone for a few days - for one, Stiles has been gone and that's a problem because he's pack -

- and Derek doesn't like them to be separated for this long, not here.

He's tracked him. He would know the smell of the human even without the cloying smell of his bedroom (only cloying to a werewolf). That's how he ends up standing outside where Stiles is staying, staring at the door at two in the morning.]

[He gets his head out of the fridge and look around - Isaac's off, somewhere, and Derek scowls]

Stiles? Stiles!

[He comes into the living room from outside looking pale, if that's even possible, breathing hard like he ran the whole way.]

[He drops a bag of Chinese food on the table. Usually the smell draws Stiles out of hiding]

[Haha, you thought you'd escaped to your own place but no. Isaacs climbing through the window and flopping onto your bed. Leaves and mud and snow and all.]

[Derek woke up and Stiles was gone.

That's not too unusual - Stiles does still live at home, but then Derek took a breath, and he wasn't home, in his house, in his woods. The smell of Stiles was old and fading and

Human.

So he gets up and makes his way through, sniffing for evidence, and bursts out the door. Something is wrong. He can sense it, something is wrong.

He's through the woods and into a City that isn't Beacon Hills when he howls.

Stiles, where are you, where are you?]

What does one get for their girlfriend on the Day of Valentines? I have seen hearts are a popular motif. Ought I rip out one from a spectacular beast and present it to her amidst chocolates?

Are you at the mansion? We need to talk.

[ It's taken him a while to decide what to put in the text, and a little longer to actually send, because he probably doesn't have any right over the kid. But he's concerned. He's allowed to be, right? He might not have actual kids of his own, or even think he's in the position and/or fit to have any, but he's not going to stand by while someone else's are hurt. The pictures he's looking down at are enough to make him act.

On second thought, maybe going over to the mansion where they could be overheard isn't the best idea. ]

Scratch that. Meet me at the park.

[Do you hear that? That's a girl screaming from Derek's room]

[ The merits and greatness of the Welcome Center aside, their choices in last minute, didn't mean to take the trip I took clothing - lacks. This shirt is too big. He misses his own clothes. He'd gotten new clothes over the summer! They were all cool! Any way he can transfer them here? No? Bueller? ]

How long did you wait before you got all new clothes?

[It's really early - just after dawn - when Derek wakes Stiles up]

Stiles, come on.

Hey, I just woke up but I'm okay. I was cursed. I was a pirate. Were you a pirate? Anyway, I'm me again. And I wanted to say [ A breath. ] I don't resent you for staying with Derek and Isaac. I get it. I actually do. If you live with me and my mom, she's -- she's your mom. Not, your mom, I don't mean like that, I mean that you lived for a year without having to answer to anyone. [ Except Derek ] And you know we're still best friends. If you don't, we are. I hope things didn't get too crazy... Did you know pirates hired butchers to be medics? Anyway, you're probably asleep. But, if you want lunch today, let me know?

Chase and Saya - did you know?

[ He wakes up to the sound of Lydia Martin's scream, a regular scream, as she races out of his bedroom and into her own. He'd apologize, he even plays at knocking on her door but what can he say? So, he knocks, she tells him to go away and because he's Scott McCall, he does. For now. He doesn't go to his mother's bedroom but he can hear she's already gone.

He goes to the clinic, gets an early start and focuses on that. Around eleven he fires a few text messages off to his mother. An apology. Things get awkward. Yes, they used protection. And then she tells him if Rory does come around again, he has her permission to chase him off in any way. He won't have to. But, if he does, he can be intimidating.

Nothing he could send Lydia will do, text or message wise.

So, he finishes up his day and considers his options. He has another apology to make on his apology tour 2013. Maybe Stiles has a few lacrosse balls he can lob at him. ]

Are you home?

Stiles?

[You hear that? That's the sound of an alpha looking for his...Stiles.]

Stiles are you here?

[And a huff of breath, come on Stiles, why aren't you in your room-]

[Ginny saw his post but she didn't think to comment, not after she saw how many people rushed to him (and she's glad for it, concern leapt to her throat and she'd almost Apparated on the spot). But what she does do is put together a little parcel of biscuits and a tin of tea and a note that simply reads It's what my mum would do. ~Ginny tied to it all.
