[ A sigh, resting his chin on his knee and looking out from the cave opening. ] I just want to feel something. To have one thing that's right.

[ Twisting to look at him. ]

[ He shrugs. ]

I am. But also I've managed to survive our lives so I figure that works in my favour. I like you, you like me. We could die tomorrow, Derek. I don't want to die without trying.

[ Eyeing him. ]

[ He's quiet while they watch the sun rise, but eventually he pipes up again. ]
