But, I don't know if I did. I could like him. My mom wasn't even surprised when Isaac did that on the network. She thought I liked him back already. What if me liking him came out differently than when I liked Allison. [ God, Scott, we established this, they're different. He pauses for an absurd, grounded statement. Because he needs to stop foaming at the mouth. ] Lydia told me to date them both. [ A beat. ] But, she also said you can date someone to see if something's there. And even if I want to see, I told him there wasn't. And pushed him into Allison's arms and now he's not talking to anyone. Isaac never puts himself out there. He finally does and I do this? I couldn't think about it? Or say something else?

He's pretty cut up about it.

[ Because Stiles lives with Isaac, he's seeing the aftermath. And he gets both sides, he does. Scott never really means any harm. But like he said, Isaac put himself out there. ]

Seriously, he hasn't even spoken to Allison since. There's been no running or pushing or whatever, he's just stayed in his room. I tried talking to him but he's not having it. [ He bets. He's not proud of any of this and he feels horrible. He never wants to bring this out in Isaac. Never. ]

Yeah. At least if he locked me out I could just break the lock. And buy him another... Not that I'd break down the door. It's all a mess, Stiles.

[ Because having him glare at everyone would probably suck. ]
